News & New Headshots

It’s quite a busy summer here at Melissa Schollaert Photography, lots of beautiful weddings, travel and shoots happening.  You may have seen below many sneak peeks at recent weddings, be sure to check out my latest work here on the blog.  In addition to normal business, I’ve also been working on a few other projects and wanted to post an update here for everyone.

I’ve been working on updating my online presence with a new blog design and website this year.  The new blog design was already rolled out earlier this year.  My new website is finished with the design process and now all that remains is to fill it with lots of new and fresh images in all the galleries.  I can’t wait for everyone to see the new site, I’m really excited about it!  It’s fresh, clean and something a little different.  Look for that coming soon, and an announcement will be made here on the Blog, and on Facebook and Instagram.

One part of updating my online presence was getting new headshots taken!  And, I couldn’t think of a better place for a destination wedding photographer to get their headshots done than in beautiful Italy!  Earlier this spring I traveled there and the lovely Leti e Viola Fotografia photographed me in one of my favorite seaside towns along the Italian Riviera.  It’s a special place, and also very near where I photographed my first ever wedding in Italy years and years ago.  I thought it would be the perfect location for this jetsetting girl, and I love how the photos turned out.  You’ll get to see many more from this session on the new website, but for now I wanted to post one of my favorites.

Ciao!
