The winter season is typically slower for weddings around here and is definitely my time to reset, recharge and work behind the scenes to roll out all kinds of new things for my business and my wonderful clients.  One project this winter has been sourcing a new album company, since one of my manufacturers sadly went out of business.  I always want to provide my clients with a quality, hand made and archival level album that is beautiful, classic and will preserve their memories to last a lifetime.

(Don’t worry to anyone who has ordered my Coffee Table style book, as there are no changes with this style album.  Anyone who was interested in the old Silk Flushmount style album, the new album below is almost identical – but with some fancy new upgrades as well as an expanded list of cover/fabric options!)

I only offer quality and archival level products that I’ve researched and inspected in-person that will last for decades and not warp or fall apart.  This level of quality does come with a price tag, but I encourage all clients to meet with me to see the albums in person so they can see the level of craftsmanship and why these are truly an investment for their family.

NEW ALBUM TYPE

After looking at several options, I decided (in addition to my Coffee Table Book which is still available – don’t worry!) to offer a similar style album to my old Silk Flushmount Album.  I’m so excited because not only do these new albums come with a huge selection of silk fabrics, they also offer LINEN and…VELVET options!!!  I received the fabric samples and was sold.  I’m so excited to offer these beautiful albums to my clients.

The price point is the same as my old album, but with so many more fabric options as well as corresponding products to go along with your book like folios, boxes, etc.  They include a matching fabric presentation box to protect the album, which can be customized with text, an image or your custom logo.

ALBUM REGISTRY
I am super excited to roll out an Album Registry option for my clients!  Many client choose to include an album in their package when they book me, but sometimes it’s not initially part of their budget and they end up purchasing it after the wedding.  This new Album Registry is a great way to register for an album and your family/friends/guests can contribute to the purchase.

A custom web page is setup for you with a custom link where you can direct your guests from your registry or wedding website.  From there they can choose the amount they wish to give.  In the end, you’ll receive updates as well as a final spreadsheet with all who have gifted so you know who to send thank you notes to.

I’ve already tested this out with a few clients and they are loving this option!  In this digital age, it’s a treasure to have a beautiful, bound and archival album as one of your family heirlooms.  Not only is it a great way to relive the memories of your wedding day, but also to share it with your children, grandchildren and beyond.  What I wouldn’t give to have an album of my grandparents wedding day…
