San Francisco
March 6, 2013Last fall I took my first EVER trip to San Francisco with some friends, and met some new one’s. We traveled from all corners of the country. We were hosted by my friend Kristen, and stayed a few days at her place before venturing off to Napa & Sonoma for the weekend. We stayed in this lovely little house nestled in Sebastopol, which was really quiet and quaint. One day we went wine-tasting from Healdsburg to Sonoma and stopped at some pretty incredible wineries. My favorite was Matanzas Creek, which was settled between the beautiful rolling hills of Sonoma. Matanzas Creek also produced their own lavender, so it was neat to walk through the fields. One morning we got up early and drove to the coast to Botany Bay, which was also a great little side trip. It was really foggy and moody and I got some great shots of the rocky coast. We ended the trip in San Francisco and saw all the sights including the Golden Gate Bridge, Trolley Cars, and had cocktails & oysters on the wharf. It was a great trip with great friends.

Traveling with all photographers, we had our cameras out the entire trip and couldn’t resist but take a few pics of each other. This is Stacey, our fun, adventuring Massachusetts friend!
And Miss Alicia, who you’ve seen here on the blog before. She’s currently in New York City, but is originally from Stockholm.
And Kristen, our lovely host from the bay area!

Until next time ladies!!! Adventure awaits!

What a wonderful year it has been, and it’s the perfect time as wedding season starts to slow down to give thanks. While this one day really makes us reflect on what we are thankful for, I feel that everyday should be a reason to give thanks. Thanks for what you have, but also giving thanks to others for all that they do. Remember to thank someone everyday. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
