It was one of the first weddings that I photographed. We arrived at the rehearsal dinner and not a soul was there. However, the venue had been completely decorated and photos hung of the future bride & groom. Just by looking at these photos, you could tell how in love they were. Later, when their family told their story of how they almost met, how they really met and how they met again, it was completely obvious that these two were destined for each other and meant to be together. They were so perfect, so cute that we called them “peanut butter & jelly”. Just like Ernie & Bert, Fred & Barney, Thelma & Louise, Mickey & Minnie and Kermit and Miss Piggy - they were the perfect pair.
I am lucky enough to be friends with another couple who are, in my terms, “peanut butter and jelly”. I met Beri, a fun, exhuberant and super cool girl at work. Over the years we became good friends. Her longtime boyfriend Brian was a great guy, very laid back and fun to be around. It was so evident just seeing them together that they were meant for each other and it was only a matter of time before they would be engaged. Their story is worthy of the most romantic hollywood movie and their wedding definitely captured their love for one another.
One year ago today, Beri & Brian were married on a beautiful summer day. Happy One Year Anniversary Beri & Brian! Wishing you many years of happiness and fun. I’m sure I’ll be photographing you on your 60th Wedding Anniversary!

I had a really great time photographing this family and their two sweet little boys. We had so much fun feeding and watching the ducks, fishing in the pond, looking for four-leaf clovers in the field, and looking for leprechans and Superman!

Stay tuned for more photos from this beautiful wedding!
