-Door detail from the Chapel of Our Lady of Mercy – Boca Grande, Florida

I’ve been to Boca Grande several times to photograph weddings and the Island has several quaint “little white churches” that I’ve shot at. But, my path hadn’t crossed this particular chapel. Let me tell you…it was absolutely gorgeous!!! Designed in the Spanish style, it’s beautiful old wood doors were intricately detailed with metalwork and metal pulls and an old keyhole. So beautiful. I would love, Love, LOVE to shoot a ceremony at this church. It also has a little courtyard in front, lined with palm trees, a small fountain and beautiful sideyards for photos. I’d highly recommend it to any couples getting married in Boca Grande! And, it’s a short golfcart ride from the historic Gasparilla Inn! Love.
