Emily & Tripper’s Wedding was one of the most fun weddings I’ve ever photographed. Emily is from Georgia while the groom hails from Louisiana. They wanted to fuse their two backgrounds together and create a beautiful and fun southern soiree and Amy from A Flawless Event did just that! The wedding was held in Atlanta at The Foundry at Puritan Mill, a rustic brick converted warehouse space that was a complete blank canvas. They integrated lots of candlelight as well as some fun elements from the bayou into their celebration. Upon entering the cocktail reception, the guests were greeted with a beautiful escort card display, champagne and fresh oysters from Louisiana! Emily & Tripper had the oysters brought up that morning all the way from the bayou, fresh as could be. They were served in a boat and freshly shucked for all the guests to enjoy. Then, guests were treated to a candlelit sit-down dinner with tons of beautiful details. All of the tables contained different lush floral arrangements by Tulip with silver chargers, mercury glass candleholders as well as a 40+ feet long magnolia leaf and bloom garland that ran the entire length of the head table. The couple danced the night away with friends and family and a great time was had at this elegant southern soiree.
Their wedding was also featured on Southern Weddings blog and you can see the entire feature HERE!
