I believe a couple’s wedding should be exactly what they desire, and what suits them best. For couples that want a more private and low-key wedding, eloping is the perfect option! These events are so intimate and beautiful, and typically really focus on the couple and their love for each other. I love that, and I love capturing small and intimate elopements for couples that desire a more private wedding day. The absolute best part of an elopement for me is having so much more time to capture my client’s at their destination, roaming around Paris or renting a scooter or Fiat to drive along the Amalfi Coast. Can you imagine having photos of you and your spouse like this and looking at them years down the road? What sweet memories.

AMALFI COAST
If you’re looking for THE destination wedding location of locations…The Amalfi Coast in Italy is it! Nestled south of Naples on the Sorrentine Peninsula, this coastline is one of the most breathtaking places in the entire world! It’s where towering cliffs meet the sea, blue skies and sunshine dominate and the scent of lemons drifts through the air. The sight of the hillsides in towns like Positano are a feast for the eyes, while the local fish & seafood are a feast for the stomach. Whether you’re cruising along the sea to the island of Capri or you’re perched high above the entire coastline in Ravello, you’ll see beauty everywhere. It is one of the perfect locations to elope or have a small destination wedding.

TUSCANY
La mia bella Italia… When I think about where I could see myself getting married, Tuscany is the place. I remember my first time traveling through this area and I just fell in love – I mean, how can you not? Rolling hills, olive groves, vineyards, historic villa’s – you absolutely can’t go wrong with a wedding in Tuscany. You almost don’t even need that many details when the scenery is this gorgeous!

NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS
I have probably photographed the most weddings in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. This area is one of my favorite locations for weddings and some venues are as little as 2 hours from Atlanta, my home base. These venues radiate mountain elegance out of every nook and cranny. Tops on my list is Old Edwards Inn & Spa which is host to an amazing list of venues large and small, and also has some of the best service I have ever witnessed at a venue. Many of my clients have a family tie of some sort to this area or grew up going to the mountains for vacation. It’s truly a special place! I have also had the pleasure to work in many of the smaller towns in this area including Highlands, Cashiers and Asheville and have listed my favorites.

PARIS
Oooh-la-la! One of the most romantic places in the world, is the city of Paris. Its beautiful streets, boats floating along the Seine, French champagne and views of the Eiffel Tower at nearly every turn. I bet anyone could fall in love here! Paris is the perfect place to elope because there are so many beautiful and intimate spots throughout the city to say your vows, just the two of you. So grab yourself a tuxedo and your passport and jet off to the city of light for your elopment!

THE LOWCOUNTRY
The south is one of the top wedding locations in the country, and when you see some of these venues you’ll know why. This area is drenched in history, nature, mystery and lots of spanish moss. It has some of the most beautiful venues in the country with a charm that you can only find in this area. The hospitality can’t be beat and the low country seafood is amazing! These beautiful venues scattered throughout the region are some of the best that I’ve photographed at, and oh so beautiful.
