One of the reasons I enjoy traveling so much is because I never come back the same person. Each trip teaches us things about other people, other cultures and also about ourselves. It’s the journey that matters, not where you go or how you get there. So many of my journeys have “moved” and inspired me, many of which you’ll see in the collection. Particularly in this collection I’ve incorporated imagery associated with the sea and voyaging to unseen worlds in various sailing vessels, along scenic coastlines and sleepy harbors. The sea always brings a sense of renewal and comfort, since I did not grow up on the water. The salty air and water always seem to cure whatever might be ailing me, and has also inspired me on so many of my journeys.
I chose The Voyage Collection to release first because I want to inspire others to be moved by their journeys. Remember that it’s not about the destination, but all the stops along the way that teach and inspire you. I further hope that those who may not be able to take a journey can find comfort and serenity by displaying them in their home and are moved the same way I was when I was creating the image.
