Sometimes, becoming lost is exactly what we need to find our way back to where we belong.  This life is full of challenges. Some days are harder than others, there are ups and downs. Over the last year I’ve been hit with not one, but multiple setbacks. During this time, I often thought of the following quote: “The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears or the sea.” -Isak Dinesen.

As I read through these words, I closed my eyes and was instantly transported to the sea. I felt the sweat, tasted the salt on my lips, and felt the wind blow through my hair and these elements began to soothe and heal my soul. There’s something about the ocean that brings a calm peace, and washes away all of the pain while giving you hope that better days are on the horizon.

Nature has a beautiful way of of renewing itself and showing me that for all the lows, there are even higher highs. This collection was created to soothe the weary souls of those who need healing. It is for those that need light to lift them through dark times. These images are for those who have been sick, been hurt, have had difficulties, had their heart broken, whose dreams were crushed, those that have been wronged, and to the ones who are grieving. I hope that when you look at these images, they bring you peace, comfort & love and encourage you that there is happiness and freedom on the other side of pain.

As you look at these images, feel the sea washing over you, salt kissing your skin and wind in your hair giving you hope that smooth sailing and calmer days are ahead. You will get there.
